chocolate turnovers
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (i used 1/2 white choc and 1/2 bittersweet)
1 package puff pastry
1 tsp cinnamon
egg wash
egg
1 tbs cream
vanilla sugar for sprinkling on top
roll out each sheet into a 12 by 12 inch square. cut each sheet into 9 squares.
toss the chocolate chips and cinnamon together.
place 1 tbs of chip mix into center of square of puff pastry. brush the edges with egg wash and fold into triangle and crimp edges. brush the top with egg wash and sprinkle with vanilla sugar.
bake at 400 for 15 minutes. cool on baking rack.
